Sean's Team Building and Team Leadership Blog Shares Insights and Inspiration to Lead from Where You Are!
The Leadership Book Your Team Hopes You Will Read
It was my pleasure to read and share with you my review of Bill Treasurer’s most recent book, Leaders Open Doors.
This is a radically simple read with profoundly practical ideas.
From his initial story that shares how a five-year-old helped to clarify the main lesson of the book (and its title), to the many ideas that each chapter provided for reflection and suggested applications, I thoroughly enjoyed the well-organized stories and tips that he packed into less than 100 pages of text.
Leaders Open Doors provides a number of powerful and real-life examples of how you, as a leader, can identify and offer opportunities to those in your organization.
Opening doors for others and encouraging their growth is how leaders create a legacy and build a more successful organization. His background in growing teams and developing leaders as a team building facilitator, executive coach, and leadership training consultant provide many of the stories that illustrate his points, and, as a leader in any field, they will encourage you to identify the doors that you might open to grow and develop your people.
Treasurer has been a champion for the rights of children with special needs for years, and has committed 100% of the royalties from this book to be donated to charities that open doors for people with special needs.
We are all leaders, and every member of your team will benefit from reading and internalizing this fantastic message. We cannot help others without in turn helping ourselves, and through identifying opportunities for others to grow and be challenged, you will enjoy personal growth and satisfaction as well.
I hope you enjoy Leaders Open Doors, and am pleased to recommend it to you and the people in your organization.
